But we all know that food is my love language & the bites that I got a sneak peak of were speaking it! It’s so hard for me to pick favorites but I would say the 2 that stood out the most to me were the Chimayo Market Corn from Blue Mesa Grill & the Mortadella Crostini (also known as Dope Toast) from Zoli’s Pizza. Y’all this corn was one of the best versions of elotes that I have ever had. I’m actually a huge fan of Blue Mesa Grill & one of my favorite things to order there is the Adobe Pie which is basically a tamale lava cake. IT’S SO YUM. I have never been to Zoli’s but after trying their crostini, I have added it to my “must try” list because if everything is as delicious as it was, it will be one of my favorite Italian places. And what is Italian food without a nice glass of vino to wash it down? AVA Grace Vineyards was there to let us sample their Merlot & Sauvignon Blanc-both were fabulous but I’m a red wine girl so I prefer the Merlot. You are definitely going to want to grab a glass of this while trekking through all the delicious food vendors at Taste Addison. Other vendors that will be featured (and were all delicious) are Cantina Laredo, Dickey’s Barbecue, iFratelli, Little Greek, Mad Batter Baker, Public School 972, Ron’s Place, Thai Orchid, Table 13 and Anheuser-Busch.
I hope you all take advantage of this great weekend to celebrate Addison, Texas & this awesome weather! Make sure to checkout the schedule of events & grab your tickets!
